2016-2017 MeLCat Advisory Committee

Thank you to all who responded to the call for service on the MeLCat Advisory Committee. The purpose of the committee is to advise the State Librarian on policies for the statewide catalog and resource-sharing system. Specific areas of focus include database standards, MeLCat system evaluation, borrowing and lending policies, and best practices.

Members from across the state are appointed for two-year staggered terms and represent a variety of types of libraries and library automation systems. The committee brings together staff with a wide range of backgrounds to promote an integrated approach to policy design and problem solving.
