Registration Open for “The Future of Indiana Public Libraries”

Online registration for “The Future of Public Libraries Conference” is now available on ILF’s registration website. This conference is co-hosted by ILF’s Indiana Public Library Association and MCLS.

Attendees will start the day with the keynote address, “Context & Community: Perceptions of Libraries 2010” by Cathy DeRosa (1 LEU). Following the keynote, facilitators from Hartzell-Mika Consulting will guide a discussing among the attendees to determine which issues are the most important to the future of Indiana public libraries. The attendees will then break into smaller groups for the afternoon to delve into the the chosen topics. At the end of the day, the small groups will reconvene to present their analysis and solutions to the whole group.

Attendees will leave with the next steps to carry the planning of the future of Indiana public libraries to the next level.
